On Thursday, September 11, 2008, members of the Laredo Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Unit recovered 52 pounds of marihuana from 3000 block of Lexington Ave.

Arrested and charged with Possession of Marihuana F/2, were:

Ricardo Venegas Age: 27
Tommy Maurice Mays Age: 37

Suspects were then transported to the Webb County Jail, pending bond.

The marihuana which totaled a value of $21,892.00 dollars was submitted as evidence in the Laredo Police Department’s Property Room, along with $4,595.00 dollars in U.S. currency.
