Narcotics/Vice Prostitution (JOHN) Detail worked on 10/10/08 and 10/11/08  On 10/10/08, the Detail was conducted in the Downtown area of Laredo.  On 10/11/08, the Detail was conducted on North San Bernardo Ave. (  There were a total of twenty arrests. These arrests were a combined effort of undercover officers from the patrol division and narcotics and vice unit of the Laredo Police Department. These men were all (*except Raul Jimenez)arrested for prostitution Class B Sec 2 Soliciting another in a public place to engage in a sexual conduct for hire.. (*Raul Jimenez was arrested for Interference w/public duties c/b.) Also Jesus Marchan 09-02-82 was also additionally charged with Unlawful Carrying of  Weapon C/A. 

These types of stings will happen frequently and without any warning.
