On August 21, 2008 the LPD Narcotics Unit arrested Epifanio Perez, 08-14-61, for Possession of a Controlled Substance F/2 (10.2 grams of Cocaine) and Possession of Marijuana C/A.  Both charges were elevated charges due to the proximity (1/2 block of St. Maria  Elementary School.  This area is a drug free zone.  The home on 1517 Boston was raided after a muti-week investigation with surveillance of illegal drug activity was viewed by officers.  He is a groundskeeper at LCC West campus.
